Why is Marbella East a perfect place to live?

Marbella East is well known for its huge amount of green zones and the lack of high rise buildings and over development.  The area offers low density residential areas, great mix of nationalities, many private and public schools, great beaches, wide selection of Spanish and International restaurants that all add up to making this part of the Costa del Sol the perfect location for a family home.

The area also offers many fantastic golf courses ranging from modest 9-hole ones to splendid top ones, as well as those adapted for amateurs.  The great number and variety of facilities added to the privileged climate that allows you to play all year round, and the prestige of its golf courses have definitively made Marbella a first-call golf destination.

Beachside or Mountainside, what do these areas of Marbella East have to offer?

Marbella East consists of the following areas: Rio Real, Los Monteros, El Rosario, Bahia de MarbellaCostabella, Las Chapas, Elviria, Marbesa, Carib Playa, Hacienda Las Chapas and Cabopino.  In Marbella East you will also find the natural reserve of La Mairena which is seen as part of Elviria by some, however it is actually located in the rustic municipality of Ojen, although it is closer to Elviria being only 5 km up the mountain.  5 minutes drive from the coast you find this stunning area where new developments of stylish apartments and penthouses are currently available.  Peaceful location with breathtaking views and the golf course El Soto Golf Club that offers a 9hole, par-3 course that players of any level can enjoy. The club also boasts a putting green and driving range, as well as tennis and padel tennis courts, a gymnasium, spa and clubhouse with restaurant.

Also famous for its many beautiful beaches, with a great selection of water sports, restaurants, or "chiringuitos".  In the area of Cabopino or Artola you will find the protected area of amazing sand dunes and there are three different types of dunes visible in this privileged location.  Further inland, acting as a barrier parallel to the coast, are the inactive mobile dunes, now covered in vegetation. Furthest inland, meanwhile, are immobile fossil dunes, covered in dense pine forest.  To discover this unique natural wealth, nothing better than a stroll amidst the dunes on one of the footpaths installed, as walking on the dunes themselves could affect their natural balance.
