A review of 2022. Let's take a look back at the last year...
Property sales were unexpectedly strong, post-pandemic and in 2021 we had one of our best years in terms of sales. The feedback we got suggested that this was because of pandemic not in spite of it, with people realigning their priorities and seeking more space and a warmer climate. 2022 has continued in the same fashion. In the first half of the year we saw two of our biggest ever months within the company. Property prices have continued to rise, and with that in the second half of the year, Spanish and British sales have notably slowed. This shift doesn't seem to have effected other foreign markets however, which seems to be thriving. So, what are the predictions for 2023? Is the post-pandemic surge is likely to continue? That remains to be seen but with plenty of clients in the pipeline, we are feeling confident.
Supply & demand continues to be the biggest issue on a review of 2022, with a shortage of quality new listings. Anything listed at the correct price is being snapped up very quickly. Bidding wars between clients have been more commonplace and we have been seeing clients gazumped at the last minute. Generally speaking with the New Year comes new listings and we hope that this year will be no different so we can continue to offer you the best properties at the best prices! So watch this space!
