Parque La Batería
Huge, beautiful park in Torremolinos with a man-made boating lake that’s just a euro for an hours play. You can explore the tunnels, find old cannons and climb towers as well as have hours of fun on the brilliant, very modern kids park. A really great afternoon out in Torremolinos.

La Concha Mountain

An unforgettable experience for mountain and trail lovers. Start at Refugio de Juanar, where there are a number of other stunning trails of varying difficulty. Allow 4-6 hours for La Concha itself, which is of medium difficulty. Not recommended for very small children. Take plenty of water and wear sunscreen. Best experienced on a clear day.

Benahavis River walk
Walk, swim and explore this stunning canyon. Takes around 1-2 hours from start to finish. The more experienced ramblers can choose to do it solo or beginners and those with smaller children can experience this adventure with a tour guide where you will be provided with hard hats and safety equipment.

Close to the lakes and next to the town of El Chorro you will find the famous Caminito del Rey or ´kings walkway´. To experience this newly restored, spectacular route, you will need to book in advance. You will also find via feretta trails and plenty of technical rock-climbing routes for the more daring adventurers.
El Torcal
Children´s imaginations will run wild at this prehistoric, fossilised, rock nature park. Bring a picnic and enjoy a day spotting rocks and exploring trails.
